Job Summary:
We, DLE&C- FZCO, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Executive with specialized expertise in managing complex logistics for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, international trade compliance, heavy and oversized cargo handling, and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Logistics Planning:
- Develop and execute logistics strategies for large-scale EPC projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Freight Management:
- Manage international freight operations, specially, but not limited to Sea freight and land transportation; handle full container loads (FCL), breakbulk, RO-RO, OOG cargo, and HLOS Cargo
- Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure compliance, and monitor performance.
- Customs and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, Incoterms, export/import compliance, and customs clearance procedures across different jurisdictions.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and verification of shipping documents (packing lists, invoices, B/L, COO, LC documents, etc.); ensure accurate reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Procurement and Management Teams to align delivery schedules with project milestones.
- Risk & Crisis Management:
- Proactively manage risks associated with transportation delays, route disruptions, and regulatory changes. Implement contingency plans when necessary.
