Kitchen Assistant

    We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Kitchen Manager to become a key part of our growing Angel Cakes family. If you have a passion for operational excellence, love creating order out of chaos, and enjoy working with both people and systems, this role is for you!

    Inventory Management and Control:

    • Maintaining and updating accurate records of warehouse stock of food products, ingredients, and consumables in specialized IT systems (e.g., AngelOS, SYRVE (iiko)).
    • Participating in regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and identifying and documenting discrepancies.
    • Monitoring the movement of goods in the warehouse (incoming, outgoing, transfers, write-offs).
    • Ensuring compliance with product rotation rules (FIFO/FEFO) and minimizing write-offs.
    • Monitoring stock levels to promptly inform responsible personnel about the need for replenishment.

    Document Flow and Reporting:

    • Processing, systematizing, and archiving all incoming and outgoing documents related to kitchen operations (invoices, write-off acts, internal transfers, etc.).
    • Preparing daily sales reports, monthly and annual financial reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
    • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all required reports submitted to management.
    • Preparing data for audits of the kitchen’s financial operations.

    Kitchen IT Systems Management:

    • Administering and supporting the operation of specialized café management systems (e.g., AngelOS, SYRVE (iiko)), including data entry, corrections, and ensuring data relevance.
    • Managing user access and permissions in IT systems for kitchen staff, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to confidential data.
    • Ensuring compliance with data security protocols and confidentiality of information (including customers’ personal data and operational data).
    • Coordinating with IT support for troubleshooting, system updates, and improvements.
    • Monitoring the execution of data backup and recovery procedures.
    • Training kitchen staff in the basics of working with IT systems and following data security rules.

    Standards Compliance and Audits:

    • Monitoring kitchen operations to ensure they comply with established operational standards and protocols (e.g., product quality, customer service, hygiene).
    • Preparing for internal and external audits, providing access to necessary records, systems, and personnel.
    • Monitoring the timely resolution of discrepancies identified during audits.

    Interaction and Coordination:

    • Effectively communicating with the head chef and café manager to provide administrative support for their work.
    • Collaborating with the accounting and finance departments on reporting and payment matters.
    • Communicating with other company departments on all administrative issues related to kitchen operations.
