As we continue to grow, Arabian Wanderers is looking for a dedicated and hardworking helper/cleaner to join our dynamic team. The role involves overseeing warehouse cleanliness, preparing equipment before trips, supporting trip logistics, and ensuring efficient post-trip operations.
Responsibilities
General Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Before Trips
- Clean camping equipment, including:
- Tents, mattresses, sleeping bags & liners, pillows, tables, chairs, toilets, trailers.
- Grocery logistics:
- Receive and check grocery orders at the .
- Sort groceries into designated boxes for different trips.
- Trailer preparation:
- Count and load necessary equipment into the corresponding trailers.
During Trips
- Camp setup:
- Pitch tents, inflate mattresses, arrange bedding and seating.
- Set up the kitchen, majlis, drinks table, and toilet tent.
- Cooking:
- Prepare BBQ dinner and simple breakfasts (e.g., eggs, beans, sausages).
- Cleanliness and maintenance:
- Maintain a tidy campsite at all times.
- Report any missing or damaged items.
- Camp breakdown:
- Pack down all camp gear and return it to trailers in an organized manner.
After Trips
- Unload trailers and store equipment in designated places.
- Refrigerate leftover food and clean the kitchen.
- Conduct a full inventory check against the equipment list.
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken English.
- Must be based in the UAE and willing to live in Ajman.
- A Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
- Valid passport.
