    About the Role:

    The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with corporate and individual clients, and promoting the brokerage’s service and offerings. This role combines strategy, client engagement, and sales execution to drive growth in premium revenue and client base.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Acquisition & Retention

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, SMEs, and individual clients.
    • Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals and cross-selling.

    Brokerage Partnerships & Insurer Relations

    • Develop and maintain partnerships with insurance providers to negotiate better terms, premiums, and coverage for clients.
    • Stay updated on insurer products and bring innovative solutions to clients.

    Market Development & Strategy

    • Analyze market trends to identify gaps and opportunities in general insurance (motor, property, liability, health, etc.).
    • Develop business development strategies aligned with company growth targets.

    Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Achieve set targets for premium income and brokerage revenue.
    • Lead presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients.

    Advisory Role

    • Provide consultative advice on risk management and insurance solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while designing solutions.

    Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with account managers, operations, and claims teams to ensure service quality.
    • Train and mentor junior sales staff where needed.
