Key Responsibilities:
Coating Works: *
Supervise surface preparation, blasting, painting, and coating application as per approved procedures. * Ensure correct use of materials, equipment, and environmental controls (humidity, temperature, DFT, WFT). * Verify compliance with coating specifications, ITPs, QCPs, and project drawings. * Conduct inspections (holiday test, adhesion test, DFT measurement) with QA/QC and client representatives. * Coordinate with subcontractors for daily planning and progress.
Insulation Works:
* Supervise installation of hot, cold, acoustic, and cryogenic insulation for piping, vessels, and equipment. * Ensure proper cladding installation (aluminum, SS, GI) as per project standards. * Verify insulation materials (Foam Glass, Mineral Wool, PIR/PUR, Cellular Glass) per project requirements. * Inspect joints, thickness, vapor barriers, sealing, and weatherproofing.
General Responsibilities:
* Ensure work is executed with full adherence to ADNOC HSE rules and site safety standards. * Prepare daily progress reports and monitor productivity. * Coordinate with construction team, QA/QC, planning, and client for inspections and work permits. * Identify material shortages, technical issues, and propose corrective actions. * Provide technical guidance to workforce and ensure proper manpower allocation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or related engineering field.
Minimum 8–15 years experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects (LNG preferred).
Strong knowledge of coating and insulation specifications (ADNOC / ISO / NACE standards).
Certification preferred: NACE Level 1/2 or BGAS.
Excellent understanding of P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings.
Good communication and leadership skills.
