Female Receptionist

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month

    Key Responsibilities

    Patient Interaction:

    • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
    • Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
    • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as needed.
    • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff members.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Process patient information, including insurance details and medical histories.
    • Handle patient forms and ensure proper documentation is completed.
    • Prepare and manage daily appointment schedules for medical staff.

    Insurance and Billing:

    • Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations if required.
    • Assist with billing processes and collect payments for services rendered.
    • Resolve insurance and billing inquiries in a timely manner.

    Coordination and Communication:

    • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
    • Relay messages and information between patients and healthcare providers.
    • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

    Compliance and Confidentiality:

    • Adhere to all medical and administrative regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
    • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration or a related field is a plus.
    • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is essential.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
    • Proficiency in using office (Exel) equipment and electronic health record systems.
    • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
