Duties and Responsibilities
A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up. Here are the overview of the Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting
- Preparation of annual accounts for audit and annual statutory reporting
- Management and ultimate responsibility for the Finance/Accounting software
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing and other transactions
- Complete tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements
- Provide financial and analytical support to the Directors around budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability
- Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial/accounting systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function
- Supervision and performance management of the direct reports
Skills
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics required
- Previous experience as a Financial Manager for at least 5 years in the U.A.E
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
- Possess with thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing
