Front Desk Receptionist

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,000.00 per month

    Job Summary:

    The Hotel Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Guest Services:
    • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
    • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
    • Reservations and Bookings:
    • Manage room reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems.
    • Confirm reservations and process cancellations or changes as needed.
    • Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
    • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
    • Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and room charges.
    • Keep the front desk area tidy and organized.
    • Monitor and respond to emails and other correspondence.
    • Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and issues.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate’s degree or higher in hospitality management or related field preferred.
    • Experience:
    • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
    • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Other Requirements:
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in UAE.
