    Job Summary:

    City Doctor Medical Centre is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid DHA license and have a strong background in physical rehabilitation and therapy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assessment: Evaluate patients’ physical condition, movement, strength, posture, and mobility.
    • Diagnosis: Identify physical problems and functional limitations caused by conditions like back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, stroke, or post-surgical complications.
    • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
    • Therapy Techniques:
    • Exercise Therapy: Strengthening, stretching, and conditioning exercises.
    • Manual Therapy: Hands-on techniques to mobilize joints and soft tissues.
    • Electrotherapy: Use of electrical equipment such as TENS, ultrasound, or laser therapy.
    • Dry Needling and other advanced techniques (if certified).
    • Rehabilitation: Assist patients in recovering mobility and function after injury or surgery.
    • Education: Teach patients exercises for home care and strategies to prevent recurrence of injuries.
    • Monitoring: Track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

    Common Conditions Treated:

    • Sports injuries
    • Post-surgical rehabilitation
    • Chronic pain (e.g., neck, back, shoulder)
    • Stroke rehabilitation
    • Arthritis and joint disorders
    • Muscle strains and sprains
    • Neurological disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s, MS)

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
    • Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority) – Mandatory
    • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience (preferred)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
