Job Type: Full-time
Conduct thorough inspections of waterproofing materials and methods to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Develop and implement detailed quality control plans specific to waterproofing projects, outlining testing methods and acceptance criteria.
Oversee the application of waterproofing systems, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed to prevent future failures.
Perform non-destructive testing and analysis of waterproofing systems to detect potential leaks or weaknesses.Conduct root cause analysis for any waterproofing failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential waterproofing challenges before they arise.
Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff on waterproofing standards and quality assurance procedures.
Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in waterproofing technologies and materials.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, tests, and quality control measures for future reference and audits.
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address quality issues promptly and provide solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles specifically focused on waterproofing projects.
Certifications in waterproofing or quality assurance (e.g., ICRI, ACI, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
Experience working on large-scale construction projects, particularly in commercial or industrial settings.
Strong understanding of waterproofing materials, techniques, and performance testing methods.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications related to waterproofing.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus, especially in multilingual project environments.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
