Job description
Overview of the role:
To manage the performance of the BYD retail sales team across large stores and pop-up locations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivery of exceptional customer experiences, and execution of operational excellence in line with BYD brand standards.
What you will need:
Team Leadership & Performance
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Monitor daily performance metrics including leads, test drives, and conversions.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and development plans.
Customer Experience Management
Ensure consistent delivery of a premium customer journey across all touchpoints.
Resolve escalated customer issues and support the team in complex sales negotiations.
Champion a customer-first culture and ensure alignment with BYD brand values.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of retail stores and pop-ups, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with visual merchandising standards.
Coordinate with marketing and events teams to support activations and campaigns.
Manage inventory levels, vehicle display, and test drive logistics.
Reporting & Standards
Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
Provide insights to senior management to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Collaboration
Liaise with HR, training, and product teams to ensure team readiness and product knowledge.
Work closely with aftersales and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer handover.
Skills
What you will need:
Written and spoken English is a must; 2nd language (Arabic/Russian/Mandarin) is beneficial
8+ years sales experience preferability in mid-luxury retail industry
3+ Years supervising/leading teams
Valid UAE Driving License
