Role Summary:
A Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of computer science, digital literacy, and software applications. They also help students develop coding, typing, and internet safety skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons on computer basics, MS Office, coding, and internet usage.
- Teach programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS) depending on student level.
- Introduce students to safe and ethical use of technology.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and integrate them into teaching.
- Support students in IT-related competitions, projects, or exhibitions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Teaching certification (optional but preferred).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and programming basics.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills
