Basic Scope of Work:
The Hyper Market Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from inventory to fulfill customer or internal orders.
The role ensures efficient movement of goods within the warehouse and contributes to timely, error-free order fulfillment while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. This role will be based all over the UAE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Assist with daily inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and proper stock management.
- Use Pelican devices or handheld scanners to scan barcodes or QR codes for inventory tracking.
- Ensure accurate identification and recording of each inventory item in the system.
- Verify product details (e.g. size, color, quantity) to prevent order discrepancies.
- Check items for defects or damage prior to packing and escalate any issues immediately.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure timely and efficient order processing.
- Accurately scan assigned store inventory as per the scheduled timeline.
- Assist with stock counts and ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure items are selected accurately for delivery or pickup, following the correct process to meet deadlines.
- Update item statuses in the system to reflect real-time availability in the online catalogue.
- Report any discrepancies between physical inventory and system records to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure that items match customer specification and order requirements.
- Ensure up to date product information is available.
- Report missing or damaged items immediately to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols while handling and storing products.
- Adhere to company guidelines for handling fragile or hazardous items.
Skillset:
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Fair English knowledge, Arabic is advantage.
Requirements:
- Locations will be across all Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, RAK, Fujairah, Ajman, and UAQ).
