    Job description


    As a Laptop Technician, you will be the key player in ensuring our customers’ devices run smoothly and efficiently. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of laptop models, addressing both hardware and software issues. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service, helping clients understand the repairs necessary for their laptops and guiding them through choosing the best course of action. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of various laptop architectures and the latest technology trends. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

    Responsibilities
    Diagnose and repair hardware issues on various laptop brands and models.
    Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, ensuring optimal laptop performance.
    Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding repair processes.
    Maintain accurate records of repairs and customer transactions in the company database.
    Keep up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and incorporate them into the repair process.
    Perform system upgrades and installations as required by customers or organizational policies.
    Ensure all repairs and upgrades comply with safety standards and regulations.
    Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex issues and improve repair techniques.
    Order and manage inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and upgrades.
    Test laptops after repairs to ensure complete functionality and customer satisfaction.
    Assist in the setup and configuration of new laptops as per client requirements.
    Provide training to junior technicians on best practices and new technologies.

    Requirements
    Minimum of a high school diploma; technical certifications are a plus.
    At least two years of experience in laptop repair or a related field.
    Strong understanding of both Windows and MacOS operating systems.
    Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
    Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
    Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
    Capability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs simultaneously.
