Operations Manager

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED13,000.00 per month

    Key Responsibilities

    – Oversee daily operations across both cafe branches and delivery channels (Deliveroo & others).

    – Supervise, train, and schedule front

    -line staff to ensure world-class service and operational efficiency.

    – Collaborate with the accountant to manage daily sales and cost control.

    – Work closely with procurement and inventory coordinators to maintain optimal stock levels and supplier relationships.

    – Ensure strict quality control, hygiene, and full compliance with UAE food safety standards.

    – Prepare and present detailed weekly operational reports with actionable performance insights.

    New Branch Pre-Opening & Launch

    – Lead all pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training, and onboarding of the new branch team.

    – Develop and implement SOPs and operational workflows tailored to the new location.

    – Coordinate with fit-out teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely site readiness aligned with Semi sweet’s brand standards.

    – Set up delivery aggregator accounts, menu roll-outs, and POS systems for seamless operations.

    – Plan and execute soft opening events and launch activities in collaboration with the marketing team.

    – Negotiate vendor agreements, plan initial inventory, and establish cost-efficient processes from day one.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    – Site-level performance: Sales vs. targets per site.

    – Staff performance: Attendance and productivity.

    – Operational cost control.

    – SOP compliance: Consistency and adherence across all sites.

    – Customer service: Incident resolution rate and feedback scores.

    Internal & External Relationships

    Internal: Works closely with the senior management team, accountant, procurement and inventory coordinator, sales manager, baristas, chefs, drivers, and off-site marketing support team. External: Maintains relationships with delivery aggregator partners, suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies for visas, municipality for licenses, and food safety authorities. During the new site launch, this includes coordinating with design agencies, equipment vendors, event partners, as well as managing relationships with our B2B and enterprise customers.

    Requirements

    – 5+ years of proven F&B operations management experience, including pre-opening and new branch launches (cafe/QSR experience preferred).

    – Strong expertise in P&L management, cost control, and process optimization.

    – Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle budgets, timelines, and vendor negotiations.

    – A hands-on leader capable of building, training, and motivating high-performing teams.

    – Familiarity with delivery aggregator platforms, POS systems, and UAE food safety regulations.

    – Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    – UAE-based F&B experience is mandatory.
